Last updated: 8 November 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how HackTribe collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit hacktribe.co, contact us, request resources, use our free tools or use the HackTribe platform.
1. Who we are
HackTribe is provided by SIA Uxinolab, registration address: Strautu 4, Liepāja, LV-3401, Latvia (“HackTribe”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
For personal data collected through this website and for managing our customer relationships, we are the data controller. You can contact us about any privacy matter at info@hacktribe.co.
2. Event data processed for Organizers
When a university, company, public body or other Organizer runs a hackathon or innovation program on HackTribe, the Organizer decides why and how participant, mentor and judge data is used. In that case the Organizer is the data controller and we process the data on its behalf as a data processor, under a Data Processing Agreement where required.
If you take part in an event, please read the Organizer’s privacy notice as well. Requests about your event data can be sent to the Organizer or to us, and we will help the Organizer respond.
3. What personal data we collect
Contact and enquiry data: name, work email, organisation, job title and the details you share when you send a message, book a meeting or request a downloadable resource such as a playbook.
Free tool data: information you enter into tools such as the Hackathon Blueprint Generator, for example your name, email, organisation, event date and event parameters.
Price estimator answers: event type, participant range, duration, required capabilities, the referring website and campaign parameters. The estimator does not ask for your name or email.
Platform account data: name, email, profile details, skills, team membership, ideas, submissions, mentoring bookings, evaluations, feedback and messages you create on the platform.

We use technical and organisational measures such as encrypted connections, access controls and role-based permissions to protect personal data. No online service can be completely secure, so please contact us immediately if you suspect any misuse.
12. Children
Our website is intended for professionals and is not directed at children. Participation of minors in events is governed by the Organizer’s rules and privacy notice.
